Jeremiah 3:2-4

² “Lift up your eyes to the ^(A)bare heights and see;
Where have you not been ravished?
By the roads you have ^(B)sat for them
Like ^[a]an Arab in the wilderness,
And you have ^(C)polluted a land
With your harlotry and with your evil.
³ Therefore the ^(D)showers have been withheld,
And the ^[b]late rain has not ^[c]come.
Yet you had a ^(E)harlot’s forehead;
You refused to feel dishonor.
⁴ Have you not just now called to Me,
‘^(F)My Father, You are the ^[d](G)close companion of my ^(H)youth?
